Slow Re-Entry Policy

The Company offers a "Slow Re-Entry" option to new parents returning from FMLA leave taken due to the birth of their child. This includes the ability to work part-time hours for a certain period of time following FMLA leave. The new parent will be eligible (at the employee's option) to work 4 days a week at 80% of salary for up to 4 weeks, following a full 12 week leave. A new parent returning from an FMLA leave prior to the end of the FMLA period will be eligible (at the employee's option) to work 3 or 4 days a week at 60% or 80%, respectively, of salary through the end of the FMLA leave period (12 weeks from the start date of FMLA leave). For example, if a new parent returns to work after 8 weeks of FMLA leave, he or she will be eligible to work 3 or 4 days per week for up to 4 weeks.

In any event, all "slow re-entry" must be discussed with the employee's immediate supervisor, in advance of return, in order to coordinate a mutually agreed upon plan.
